CREW MANIFESTO & LINEAGE

Long live painting in the public square: spontaneous, electric, and free for all citizens.

Founded in Paris in 1983 by Michel Espagnon and Jean Jerôme, Vive La Peinture (VLP) was among the earliest street art collectives in Europe, pioneering live urban painting and iconic silhouettes along the walls of Belleville and Ménilmontant.
