Alex 'DEFER' Kizu is a co-founder of K2S (Kill 2 Succeed) and a central figure in STN (Second To None) and CBS. Emerging in the mid-1980s alongside Prime, Rick One, and Crime, Defer evolved classic Los Angeles plaqueaso and wildstyle lettering into dense, rhythmic typographic abstractions exhibited at L.A. Louver and MOCA.

Tony 'TEMPT ONE' Quan began writing in Los Angeles in the early 1980s as a foundational member of K2S (Kill 2 Succeed) and STN, fusing traditional Chicano plaqueado script with New York wildstyle. After being diagnosed with ALS, Tempt collaborated with engineers and fellow writers to pioneer the EyeWriter eye-tracking system, continuing to project monumental tags onto buildings worldwide.
