CREW MANIFESTO & LINEAGE

Painting and erasing entire city blocks frame-by-frame to create living wall cinema.

Emerging from Bologna's social centers (XM24 and Livello 57) in 1999, Blu, Ericailcane, and Dado (Alessandro Ferri) revolutionized global street art with stop-motion wall animations ('MUTO') and anti-gentrification megamurals.

Hailing from Bologna, Ericailcane is celebrated for his intricate, dark-fairytale zoomorphic murals that use animal characters as incisive allegories for human greed, war, and environmental destruction. As a foundational partner of Blu and a vital pillar of Bologna's autonomous wall culture, his cross-hatched, printmakerly murals span across Italy, Mexico, Colombia, and Palestine.
