BAD ASS POSSE // NORTH PHILLY PIONEERS

1980s North Philadelphia Broad Street & Ridge Avenue Kings

CREW MANIFESTO & LINEAGE

North Philly pride, raw calligraphic motion, and unapologetic street supremacy.

Bad Ass Posse (BAP) was established in North Philadelphia in 1982, holding down the Broad Street line, Ridge Avenue, and SEPTA rail bridges. Pioneers like Sub BAP refined the signature North Philly bottom-to-top wicket, establishing handstyle rules that still govern Philadelphia graffiti today.
