Eklips (AWR / MSK / The Seventh Letter) — Founder of AWR & The Seventh Letter • Early MSK Core Leader
EKLIPS is one of the primary architects of modern Los Angeles graffiti culture. Brought into MSK early by founder Baba, Eklips founded AWR (All Writes Reserved / Angels Will Rise) and in 1999 united AWR and MSK under The Seventh Letter umbrella and Known Gallery on Fairfax Avenue.
“We took Los Angeles graffiti from the Motor Yard and the LA River concrete banks to a global cultural powerhouse without ever compromising the letters.”
