HOPES: LA’s Graffiti King

HOPES: LA’s Graffiti King — Walter 'Poet' Zuñiga co-founded TGO (The Get Off / The GO Club) alongside Hex in 1985, helping stage the legendary Belmont Tunnel battles and Belmont Art Shows that defined early Southern California graffiti. Poet's futuristic computer-font style, razor-thin outlines, and mechanical characters helped establish LA's distinct aerosol identity.
